Travis "Tee Jay" Woods, CEO
Travis L. Woods Jr.’s philosophy is that every person has the opportunity and the ability to change if they make a decision to change. He believes that it is never too late to change and get right with God and live a prosperous life (putting forth an effort to reach your goals and your destiny). He is known for encouraging youth, adults, and the body of Christ to give 100% everyday to fulfill their God-given destiny.
In 2002, his sister had an idea for a place where Christians could come together, fellowship, and hear live gospel music. Praize City was the result of that vision. Tee Jay realized his gift in promotions when he became the Director of Operations for Praize City . Through this medium, he was able to work with DJs, local gospel groups, and national recording artists. He also created and hosted the ‘Praize City Radio Show’ on WFTH 1590, which was a marketing tool for Praize City . He also got a chance to coordinate a successful promotional street team for a Yolanda Adams concert that was held at the Landmark Theatre. He continues to promote, coordinate, and host various Christian events around the city of Richmond .
He has gotten a chance to work with youth professionally as a Counselor for 8 years which allowed him to work with various professionals in the Richmond Public Schools. Tee Jay also serves the youth in his community and church as a Youth Worker with Mt. Gilead Full Gospel International Ministries under the leadership of Bishop Daniel Robertson, Jr., Co-Pastor Elena Robertson as his Pastors, and Min. Sir Walter Scott, III as his Youth Pastor. Through these two avenues, he is able to expose youth to activities that promote culture awareness, responsibility, and growth.
Currently, he is the CEO of T-N-T Entertainment. The vision for T-N-T Entertainment is to build the Kingdom of God by teaching, promoting, and managing individuals to utilize their God given talents and gifts to reach the lost and bring unity to the body of Christ. The mission for the Life Skills Division is to target local and statewide youth from various cultures and backgrounds, and teach them how to live a successful and Godly life. The mission for the Promotional Division is to promote Christian events throughout Virginia and assist churches and organizations with coordination and promotion of various events. The Artist Management Division’s mission is to manage various Christian/Gospel artistic persons/groups and assist them in reaching their God-given potential. He also is the manager of Latarsha Woods Ministries, which is the gospel music ministry of his wife.
He graduated from Virginia State University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Marketing and is presently pursuing an Associates Degree in Christian Theology. He has also attended numerous workshops, seminars, and conferences to equip him to work with at-risk youth.
Tee Jay is a native of Richmond, VA, where he now resides with his wife, LaTarsha and their daughter, Destiny. He has a heart for his hometown and areas throughout Virginia .
